Hattie Wilcox is an artist, songwriter and composer born in Raleigh, North Carolina, raised on Chopin, Debussy, hillbilly and soul. These influences are in her blood and sure do sneak into her music. Hattie sings and writes her first love--the blues--and her new CD--Red Bird Tattoo--is scheduled for release December 2007. Fall 2007 Hattie signed a licensing agreement with Stimulus Films for her song The Leaving (fiddle instrumental version featuring Wanda Vick) to be used in Grilling Bobby Hicks film and soundtrack CD.
