Q.  What is the difference between the AudioSparx license and the RadioSparx-only license participation options?

A.  The primary difference between the AudioSparx license and the RadioSparx-only license is the following:

AudioSparx License -- The AudioSparx license is a perpetual non-exclusive license, which means that any tracks you upload are licensed to AudioSparx forever and no takedowns are permitted.  You can still license such tracks to any third-parties at any time, just not exclusively since an exclusive license would interfere in the non-exclusive perpetual license to AudioSparx.  Participating at the AudioSparx license is comprehensive, meaning that the tracks you upload would be available for all types of production licensing at AudioSparx (and also optionally our other production licensing sites StockMusicSite.com and MusicCult.com).  Further, the tracks you upload would also automatically participate in RadioSparx (our music team controls the playlisting selections), as well as our additional optional B2C (consumer-oriented) digital distribution services and publishing administration services.  By participating at AudioSparx, this maximizes your participation and earnings opportunities.

RadioSparx-Only License -- The RadioSparx-only license is a non-perpetual non-exclusive license, meaning that you can takedown any or all tracks at any time if you want to license any exclusively to some third party.  The participation is only for in-store commercial background music service uses only, no production licensing or consumer-oriented digital distribution or publishing administration is possible.  If you can’t deal with the perpetual aspect of the AudioSparx license, then the RadioSparx-only option is the only logical choice for you.

Both participation options are free, we do not charge any type of fee for you to participate here.  The only “cost” to you is the time it takes to upload and configure your track metadata settings, and then we handle literally everything else.
